Does your university as a body recognise a students’ union?

The Student Union of our university has existed for nearly 23 years, based mainly on the spirit of democracy with the intention to encourage students to manage student affairs, preserve democratic literacy, maintain campus harmony, and enhance student well-being.

The president and vice president of the Student Union are elected by all undergraduate students. Our university recognizes that the Student Union is a student-governed organization, that is, an autonomous student association.

The Student Union bridges the communication gap between students and our university. It is responsible for collecting students’ opinions. Student representatives regularly attend school affairs-related meetings, executive meetings, academic meetings, and other relevant meetings. In addition, the Student Union also assists in the communication of students’ opinions and pursuit of students’ rights through relevant online communication platforms.
