President Kuo Extends Welcome to Exchange Students, Wishes Them Wonderful Learning Experience

On the first day of school, the Office of International and Cross-straits Affairs (OICA) hosted an orientation for the exchange students from Mainland China, Germany, Malaysia, Korea, Japan, the United States, and Spain. President Yen-Kuang Kuo delivered a speech in both Chinese and English, encouraging students to travel around Taiwan and expressing his wishes for a delightful learning journey of them at NCUE. He indicated that the students are welcome to contact OICA for assistance when in need.

On behalf of NCUE faculty and students, President Kuo extended a warm welcome to the exchange students, and expressed his hope that they would enjoy their studies at NCUE and share their experience with relatives and friends after going back home.  He encouraged students to travel around to experience local culture in Taiwan. Being situated in a new environment, the students are always welcome to ask for OICA’s help and support whenever needed.

OICA then played a video sharing former exchange students’ learning and living experience at NCUE. Together with the Office of Academic Affairs and Office of Student Affairs, OICA made a presentation explaining the topics associated with campus environment, certification application, registration, accommodation, Taiwan culture and tourist attractions, which enable students to adapt to the environment soon.
